- Lichess.org: some pages embed interactive chess boards and puzzles hosted by Lichess, which may set its own cookies when you interact with these embeds

We use collected information to operate and improve the Site, respond to your inquiries, and send newsletter content if you’ve subscribed. We also use it to analyze site traffic and content performance, and to serve relevant advertising once our AdSense application is live.

- Right to Appeal: if we decline a request you’ve made under these rights, you can ask us to reconsider by replying to our response

If you have concerns about how we handle your personal information, contact us first at admin@chessbharat.org, we’ll do our best to resolve it directly. Chess Bharat is based in India, and most of our third-party services (Google Analytics, Google AdSense) are operated by companies based outside India, including in the United States. This means your information may be processed in countries other than the one you live in, subject to those providers’ own privacy and security practices.
Children’s Privacy
This Site is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
In addition, if you are under 18 and located in India, please do not submit personal information to us (such as through comments or our contact form) without a parent or guardian’s involvement, in line with India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act. If we learn that a minor has provided personal information without appropriate consent, we will delete it.
